You might soon be able to WhatsApp photos in their original quality. According to WhatsApp news aggregator WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned platform is working on a feature that will allow users to send photos in their original quality.
WABetaInfo shared the following image to demonstrate how the function will operate:
The feature will allow users to customise the quality of any image, as can be seen in the screenshot, and will be added to the drawing tool header within a chat by the instant messaging service. When sending an image in its original quality is absolutely required, this capability will be very useful.
The launch of this option is scheduled for a subsequent update of the app, according to WABetaInfo. Additionally, the feature will be rolled out to a larger portion of the public after first being made available to a select group of users for testing.
